Excellent support. Got a personal answer with a working fix in just 3 Minutes, including an explanation for the cause. Well done.

I used to use tempo, but had to switch to work time calendar because the former became too intrusive with permissions. The latter works perfectly without the need to tinker around with permissions.

I am on a trial version of Work Time Calendar, it looks promising with easy UI. I was able to enter in my timeblocks but after a short time (~1-2 mins) my time entries would disappear from my "calendar" view but still display on the "timesheet" view. It would also be "loading" for awhile to execute, not sure if there is a quick fix or someone has seen this but its too bad... Work Time Calendar looked pretty cool and has promising features but the execution did not work in my case.

    Hi Vincent,

Sorry to hear that Work Time Calendar did not work for you.

I think that there was something that caused it stop working. First thing that comes to my mind is that you or JIRA administrator put wrong google calendar credential while configuring Google Calendar Integration.

I will gladly assist you to make the Work Time Calendar work. Please write email to support@jira-work-calendar.com indicating your trial license id and I will get back to you.

    Hi Jonathan,

The bug is fixed. Thank you for reporting it! For JIRA Cloud version just refresh your browser. For JIRA Server please update to version 2.8.2. Will be thankful for bumping up the rating if the Story Point bug was the only reason to put 3 out of 4.

    Hi Jonathan,

Sorry for the problem with JIRA. You were trying to put defect for Universal JIRA Gadget plugin and it should not appear there at all. Corrected this.

I reproduced the bug and created an issue to track it: https://vkrupach.atlassian.net/browse/MWC-137. It will be fixed with the next version. I will keep you updated.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does cloud add-on pricing work?

Cloud pricing is subscription based. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for host products and add-ons based on the number of users in your instance.

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Add-ons are billed based on the number of users in your host product. JIRA Cloud add-ons are priced based on the maximum users of the JIRA products on your instance. For example, if you have JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for add-ons.

The pricing structure for cloud products and add-ons will be changing July 31, 2017, as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 host product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.
    • If per-user pricing is not yet available for this add-on, please contact the vendor for further information.

If you've opted for annual billing for your host product, add-ons are also billed annually at a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud add-ons.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud add-ons, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud add-ons are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the add-on.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Add-ons are billed based on the number of users in your host product. For JIRA Server 7.0 or later, the add-on tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA products on your instance. For example, if you're running JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 50-user tier for add-ons. For versions of JIRA Server prior to 7.0, the add-on tier should match the licensed user tier for JIRA. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your JIRA license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host product. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host product, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.

    JIRA Cloud Released 2017-06-19

    Summary

Planning feature and other major improvements

    Details

New version includes a highly expected Planning feature and many other major improvements.

    • Now you can plan your work in Work Time Calendar. Planning can be done on issue or project levels. The Sum of daily planned time is displayed in the “all-day” row and the sum for the current period is shown at the top of the calendar. Worklog entries can be easily created from the planning blocks in one click.
    • New Spent vs Planned report shows daily logged time versus planned time. The generated records can be sorted and grouped by Project, Issue, Reporter or Day. Up to 3 group levels can be defined so you can see totals for the each group level. Reports can be generated as spreadsheets so you can do further processing on them.
    • Minimum and maximum daily hours can be defined on the Configuration page. Daily totals that are below the configured interval are displayed in orange while exceeding totals - in red color. So every user sees if they have planned and reported the expected number of hours.
