JEMHC Integrate email from anyone, anywhere

The Heart of JEMHC - Project Mappings

    JEMHC Integrated Testing

JEMHC provides complete notification customization capabilities (inc preview) for TEXT/HTML templates, including images, CSS, and even localisation. Templates and CSS can be bundled into Themes, for export/import.

JEMHC Profiles contain many Project Mappings, which allows specific handling based on Rules (eg recipient match). This means you can Map incoming emails To: an address, to a given project, and customize...

When you want to validate config, content extract from email, or reproduce a processing issue, Test Cases are great! Incoming email can be converted to a Test Case for easy re-processing against a chosen Profile.

    Integrate email from anyone, anywhere

Customisation of outbound notifications and more

    Integrated Transports (HipChat, SMS)

JEMH can integrate external non-JIRA users, consume system generated emails, extractive fields for storage in custom fields, and much more

Configure what events should result in notifications Pick customised JEMH TemplateSets (email templates) Include attachments, inline avatars, comment images

New in 2.0, we have integrated the Hipchat and SMS transport to enable more flexible notifications. Transport notifications can be customized through TemplateSets and driven by Postfunction.

I am really looking for a way to add an email address to a service desk ticket. Our clients are used to sending direct emails and I still want to be able to create a ticket and allow them to receive notifications just as if they had sent the email to the service desk email address. It seems like this might handle it but before I spend hours trying to setup the trial, I would like to confirm.

From what I can see, this plugin would be great for our small 5-man team, but the costs seems to prevent me taking a trial, as I can guarantee we won't be able to afford $500 for the luxury. And I think that's a yearly cost too? Either way, I think this would be way easier to swallow at perhaps $200 for a 10 user instance. As mentioned by the vendor, the 'support load' from $10 licenses would be high, and not worth the time. In that case I would be more than happy to not receive any support. For what seems like an almost required plugin (if you want to use email with JIRA anyway) the entry cost is very steep. We went with JIRA Server so it would keep our monthly costs down, but it almost seems like it would be cheaper to run all our other plugins on Cloud, including JIRA, and use the JEMHC plugin for $10/month. I understand that JEMHC lacks some features, but considering we could pay for every other plugin we use and still have change from the cost of an entry license to JEMH, somehow I feel like it's restricting. But seems like a really great plugin. UPDATE: many months later, still no sign of this being available for an entry-level price. I found some other mail handling plugins that seem like better value for my team, but I wanted to come check here first before going ahead with them. It is a shame for the developer that I won't be using their product. By the way 30 days is hardly long enough for trialling this product. From my limited experience, it takes at least a week to set things up to a basic level, and then you need to run mail through it (actual work) before it can demonstrate any kind of value to the business. If you are serious about charging $500 for a 5 user instance, then you should be allowing a longer trial period to give those users the time to actually see the value. :)

    Hi Dylan,

I do hear you, but differentiating between such a 'no-support' tier and 'real-support' would be a barrier. I really do want to be able to offer support to all. To that end, a new office is being opened (right now) to expand support resources, that could allow a 10 user tier to come into being for JIRA server. Of course, JEMHC for JIRA cloud is already there, it has most of the features that JEMH has, but not all, and some new ones that JEMH doesn't have. If you have a specific must-have feature that JEMH has but JEMHC does not, do log a feature request via jemhc-support@thepluginpeople.com (where we use JEMHC for support too!)

Regarding maintenance, JEMH maintenance is the same as all Atlassian products and most addons, a year after purchase, its 50% the current license tier - its not mandatory, you get perpetual use of versions released in your maintenance window, but is required in order to use versions released after, and of course, for support!

    UPDATE:

Extensions are available on request, 30days is just the initial free eval expiry, just ask sales@thepluginpeople.com !

Dear developers, I'd like to raise a quiestion. Here's the situation: we have a JIRA collector connected to the "Report about problem" button at our website. When a user sends us a report JIRA automatically creates a ticket in our Inbox project (where all incoming issues drop). Every new issue has a description field and represents collected name and e-mail of the reporter http://c2n.me/3j7U0Pt.png The question is - can this e-mail be used to answer a user instantly from the issue? Does your plugin give such possibility (like a pop-up window where a comment can be typed, so that after an answer is sent to an end user he will see the original issue description + the answer)? Thank you in advance!

Hi Oleksandr, support is best served via our support mailbox - support@thepluginpeople.com, this feedback method is for reviews (good or bad!) which this is not! As it will take a few to/fro, please send us an email with some more details and we'll surely help. FYI, from what I can see here, the JEMH adhoc notifcations are likely to be most applicable.

I guess that could be a valid perspective, for 10$ JIRA users that JEMH isn't really targeting. For users of higher tiers, I really don't follow, as a % of your JIRA license tier, compared to other addons like Agile I'd say JEMH was on track? If your review was more specific, I'd be able to respond in kind.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does cloud add-on pricing work?

Cloud products and add-ons are hosted by Atlassian. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

Your subscription automatically renews every month. Annual pricing is also available. Your pricing tier for host products and add-ons is automatically upgraded (as necessary) when you add users to your instance.

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing tier?

The cloud add-on tier is set automatically based on the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you have JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, your add-on tier is 50 users.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud add-ons, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud add-ons are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the add-on.

    Paid-via-vendor pricing FAQ

    What does 'paid-via-vendor' mean?

Paid-via-vendor add-ons are licensed and purchased directly through the vendor who makes this add-on.

Payment for paid-via-vendor add-ons is not handled by Atlassian.

Will paid-via-vendor transactions be on my Atlassian invoice?

Paid-via-vendor transactions are not managed by Atlassian. This means transactions for paid-via-vendor add-ons will not be on your Atlassian invoice.
