Since we've started using this plugin to allow users to respond/update tickets via email replies, I've heard a lot less grumbling around the office about using JIRA :). We love it here! Their customer support team is extremely responsive - nothing but good things to say!

Randomly down (interface completely inaccessible) for long, unannounced stretches over the course of the past two weeks. If consistency improves, I'll update my review when the billing cycle iterates next month.

    The Plugin People

Hi Ben, sorry you seem to have had a bad experience with the Cloud version of JEMH - we are not aware of any such problems and go to lengths to maintain JEMHC 24x7 availability (see last 12 months of availability from NewRelic monitoring - sometimes a problem for NewRelic isn't a problem customers see, conversely, sometimes a problem for a customer isn't a problem that NewRelic can detect).

We use the very same JEMHC addon all day long for email support and have rarely had anything that could be attributed 'down' and have received NO such feedback from any other customer. Yesterday was interesting, there were sporadic network issues affecting AWS that we observed, that impacted page loads, this was not a problem in JEMHC but the wider network infrastructure around AWS.

I don't think you have raised any support requests with us (support@thepluginpeople.com) where we could have assisted. If you would still like to do so, referring your JIRA domain name, the time that such events occurred relative to UTC, we can review logs!

Further to this, we've found recently that Adblock can be the cause of the JEMHC Cloud Configuration page loading, one thing to check...

I am really looking for a way to add an email address to a service desk ticket. Our clients are used to sending direct emails and I still want to be able to create a ticket and allow them to receive notifications just as if they had sent the email to the service desk email address. It seems like this might handle it but before I spend hours trying to setup the trial, I would like to confirm.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does cloud add-on pricing work?

Cloud pricing is subscription based. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, your pricing tier for host products and add-ons is automatically adjusted (as necessary) based on the number of users in your instance.

If you've opted for annual billing for your host product, add-ons are also billed annually. Annual subscriptions for this add-on include a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing tier?

The cloud add-on tier is set automatically based on the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you have JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, your add-on tier is 50 users.

Note: While this add-on has features specific to JIRA Service Desk, the add-on is technically available across the whole JIRA instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud add-ons, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud add-ons are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the add-on.

    Paid-via-vendor pricing FAQ

    What does 'paid-via-vendor' mean?

Paid-via-vendor add-ons are licensed and purchased directly through the vendor who makes this add-on.

Payment for paid-via-vendor add-ons is not handled by Atlassian.

Will paid-via-vendor transactions be on my Atlassian invoice?

Paid-via-vendor transactions are not managed by Atlassian. This means transactions for paid-via-vendor add-ons will not be on your Atlassian invoice.
