    Many ways of User Locking

Upgraded capabilities: set maximum password age, password length rule, character characteristics; enforce history, password expiration notifier and user account locking.

Misconfiguration of password policies results in reduction of security for your enterprise. Our plugin reinforces cyber security by designing our app to help you enforce best practices for password security within JIRA.

If your organisation needs more security then User Locking is ready to help you. It brings password expiration, locking user's account after X failed login attempts or specific date.

    More details

Information protection (e.g. ISO/IEC 27002) and data privacy laws include specific requirements for the selection of secure passwords for identity verification. To help you comply with these laws in Confluence, Enterprise Password Policy includes the ability to implement password restrictions on a policy basis.

    • Password Complexity Requirements: digits, non-alphanumeric, uppercase, lowercase, min and max length
    • User Locking: after X failed logins, after password expiration, after date
    • History: Maximum password age, prevents setting last used passwords, avoid username in password (soon)

    User interaction:

    • Notifies users by customizable notification emails about expiring passwords
    • New users after first login will be redirected to change password page that validates password before gaining access to Confluence
    • Optional “switch off” for expiration of password for selected users or groups (e.g. Confluence admins)

Available for JIRA and Stash as well. Read Our Testimonials.

We have had a nice collaboration for developing few features with InTENSO. The features matched well with the product and delivered as expected both regarding time and quality.

You want to annoy your users, this is your plugin. It is not possible to properly deactivate password expiration. Users were asked multiply every day to change password. Initially all users were asked to change password, that was never intended (as passwords comply already) The manual is more confusing than clarifying and contains wrong information. Invite links do not work so I have trouble getting people into the wiki. Maybe someone can tell me when all the above issues are resolved and than I can try again.

Hi Tobias. Can you share this information to our support e-mail? I guess that you have configured plugin in that way to change passwords every day. Anyway, we'd love to help you!

Be careful with confluence version 5.5.4. After activating this plugin will not work registration through the invite url. Temporarily solution for users to register, clear cookies, restrart the browser(to clean the session) and login. Detailed error logs sent to developers. But still cool plugin!

Hi, Thank you for rating! Confluence 5.5.4 due to bug (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-34595) is no longer available for download. Thanks for your workaround for this version. In next version everything will works fine.

After enabling the plugin, all existed users have to reset their passwords even some of their old passwords comply with the policy. All new registration needs to reset password. We use Crowd to integrate the user management, maybe the plugin is not ready for Crowd-integrated Confluence.

Thank you for trying our solution. Actually only Internal Directory is supported (http://plugins.intenso.pl/display/PLUG/Password%20Policy%20for%20Confluence). We have support for Crowd on our roadmap.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

The add-on tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian host application. For example, if you have a Confluence Server license for 25 users, you should purchase the 25-user tier for add-ons. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your host application license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
