    This efficient plugin lets you embed and view documents online from within your Confluence editor. Two methods are available for embedding:

    • Embedding a document: insert the GroupDocs file macro and embed a document for viewing.
    • Embedding a folder: insert the GroupDocs folder macro and embed GroupDocs folders from which you can select a document for viewing.

    Just to re-iterate the reviewer below - this plug-in may well be ideal for what you want but currently costs $26/m to allow your 'embedded file' to be seen by your business. Best not to describe this as free to manage expectations. Ihor - GroupDocs Dev Support 14:51 Unfortunately we don't provide a free business plan.

    Perfect, just what I was looking for - I have a bunch of Word and PowerPoint documents that I want to share with my team, I don't want them to have to download the document and the lossy built in viewer doesn't quite meet my needs. This solves all my problems. The DropBox integration also means I can also share and view a whole bunch of documents from my DropBox, keep up the good work, I believe you have document signature in the works, this would be ideal for my business.

    Adding a Data Center-compatible

    Installation

    1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate GroupDocs.Viewer for Cloud via search. Results include add-on versions compatible with your Confluence instance.
    5. Click Install to download and install your add-on.
    6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
