Same for me, I get this error: Error rendering macro 'atlassian-freemind-macro' : loader constraint violation: when resolving method "com.atlassian.confluence.util.velocity.VelocityUtils.getRenderedTemplate(Ljava/lang/String;Lorg/apache/velocity/context/Context;)Ljava/lang/String;" the class loader (instance of org/apache/felix/framework/BundleWiringImpl$BundleClassLoaderJava5) of the current class, com/edwardawebb/atlassian/plugins/FreemindMindmapMacro, and the class loader (instance of org/apache/catalina/loader/WebappClassLoader) for the method's defining class, com/atlassian/confluence/util/velocity/VelocityUtils, have different Class objects for the type org/apache/velocity/context/Context used in the signature

Contains an unsigned Java applet, so clearly not a plugin to consider. Ideally it should work only with JavaScript.

As stated it simply embeds freemind in confluence. Freemind does not support js. You can share your feedback with the freemind project.

Well, uses Java Applet to provide the mind map - not the best way to do it. Sorry.
