Issue Reminders JIRA plugin allows you to create multiple reminders to issues in addition to global due date reminders. You can send reminders to users, groups, project roles and an email address at the same time. Reminder can be periodic or can be relative to any date field. Emails are not just a link to JIRA issue, they also contains rich text description of the issue so that the recipient does not need to access JIRA to see issue. This is especially important for external customers who does not have access to JIRA. You can create your own template too.

You can also obtain a list of all issues with a reminder using 6 different JQL functions or you can see all of you reminders in My Reminders page.

Plugin also provides a REST API so that you can integrate your own applications with the plugin.

Hello, we have done a test during the last days. A great plugin which covers all of our reminder requests! Additionally I have to say that the reply to technical questions is fast and very helpful. Best regards Rainer

Update:Problem is fixed in 1.11.8. Thanks for reporting.

Of course. Could you email to deniz@thestarware.com with a screenshot of the issue page, your jira version and screenshot of the email you received from the plugin. I will deal with it ASAP.

This is a good plug in. The only problem I notice with this plug in is there is no way I can see all my reminder descriptions at one place. I can do a JQL query but that only shows me JIRA issues. I would have to go into each issue to look at my reminders to find out who its for. I need it to be able to display description of reminders. I set reminder to discuss issues with different people for our meetings. If I can see the display I can discuss all reminders in one meeting without going into each issue to find out details of my reminder.

Please preset the user field with the current user and an option that restricts the receiptent receiptent so that users can only notifiy themselves. Also "umlaute" are shown as ? in the notification emails. Update: Thanks for your quick response! I meant an extra option "allow users only to notify themselves" that could be enabled in the admin area would be useful. Update: Thanks for the update, you are awesome! :)

    Hi Florian,

Update 2: Added the option you have requested ("allow users only to notify themselves"). Since all the issues and feature requests you have addressed are resolved could you consider increasing your star rating?

Update:Fixed non-latin characters in emails. Thanks for reporting it.

I will add current user as preset, its logical. But I could not restrict recipient to current user, because there are people using this to send reminders to their coworkers, for example to remind their timesheet or for requesting status updates at a specific time. I will try the "umlaute" problem.

You can enter all your feature requests and bug reports to issue tracker. Thanks, a will return back to you.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

For JIRA Server 7.0 or later, the add-on tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you're running JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 50-user tier for add-ons.

For versions of JIRA Server prior to 7.0, the add-on tier should match the licensed user tier for JIRA. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your JIRA license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
