    Browse through your logs directly in the application administration and save a lot of time – no need to access the server directly or downloading log files using SFTP.

    Search within automatically updated logs using filters to limit search output to the relevant log entries.

    A function in Jira doesn't work as expected? Errors in a workflow or an Add-on? Maybe the problem has been written to the log! Use the LastLog Add-on to view any log file on your Jira system directly from the Add-On Administration. Use the available search and line limit functions to limit your search output. Administrators don't need server access to view the Jira log files. Last Log will save you a lot of time.

    I like it, even though I have SSH access, this plugin saves me time. Honestly, for me, it is kind of confusing to read the logs reversed (last events at the top), especially when I am tracking exception stack traces. Is it possible to have my options saved between the plugin's uses? Then I would have "reverse order" checked, meaning that the log will be shown the same way as anywhere else. Naming that "natural" order "reversed" is kind of confusing too... Nevertheless, good job!

    This add-on is great, and better than other alternatives (even commercial ones) currently available. It allows for filtering of any log file on the instance on which it is installed, and saves Admins from having to SSH into the server to get to that information.

    Perfect Addon! But could you please specify maybe it is possible to view other log files (mail log for example), that also stored in home/log/ directory

    An absolute MUST HAVE in any installation. Just enough functionality to be super-useful. Works better than commercial ones. Would love to be able to look at other logs in the same directory (from other plugins)

    Very handy addon and we recommend it all the time to our addon customers when we request error details from the logs. They are pretty happy to do it from the Jira UI instead of having to SSH to the server. It is extremely generous to have it as a free addon. Thank you guys.

    Installation

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Last Log for Jira via search. Results include app versions compatible with your Jira instance.
    5. Click Install to download and install your app.
    6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
