When Ceptah Bridge will comparable with JIRA 7.3.x ? Now I can't see it in the Atlassian marketplace interface into JIRA 7.3.

Ceptah Bridge is compatible with JIRA 7.3, as well as with any future JIRA versions. We update the information periodically, but not for every new JIRA version being released.

I am evaluating this plug-in for a group of corporate PMs that manage anywhere from 10-13 projects at one time. We currently use Project Server/Online with PWA and am trying to find out if you offer any assistance in setting up global project settings? I understand the Project Key/Name would be different for each project plan but the other items are standard with our PMO and it seems like a big time suck to have to enter every time you do a new project plan.

There are Save File and Load File buttons at the top of the Settings Dialog, which you can use to export settings to an XML file and then load them into a different project. Alternatively, you can create a template project file with settings and use it to create new projects. If you have any further questions, please contact us through support.ceptah.com.

Is Ceptah Bridge compatible with Project Online?
    Ceptah Solutions

Ceptah Bridge can work with Project Online, but to access it it needs a desktop client. In other words, it will work with Project Online Professional and Project Online Premium out of the box, but if you have Project Online Essentials, a desktop client such as Project for Office 365 or MS Project 2016 will need to be procured in addition to Project Online Essentials.

Can Bridge bring over the dependencies created in Jira so that a MS Project schedule can be created that reflects the Jira dependencies? If dependencies are changed in MS Project will these changes be reflected back in Jira?

    Hi Carl,

You can set predecessors in MS Project based on issue links in JIRA using the Issue Link Mapping. Please see the User Guide for more details: http://www.ceptah.com/Bridge/Help/scr/Issue_Links_Mappings.htm

    Versions

    Version 3.4 JIRA Server 3.13 - 7.3.3 Released 2016-11-04

    Summary

    Various improvements

    Details

    New features

    • The ability to synchronise Issue Status with %complete and a filed at the same time.
    • The option to specify the MS Project dependency type for predecessors in the Link Mapping (SF, SS, FS or FF).
    • The ability to apply changes only to JIRA or only to MS Project.

    Improvements

    • Select the last focused task or the next available task after re-comparing in the Main Window.
    • The Remaining Work and Duration fields were removed from the drop-down list in the Remaining Estimate mapping section to avoid confusion (see http://www.ceptah.com/Bridge/FAQ/FAQ.aspx#time-tracking). The fields can still be mapped by manually entering their name in the box.
    • Allow duplicated Tempo Account names. There still will be an error if the ambiguous name is used during synchronisation.
    • Deny updating the Scheduled Start, Scheduled Finish and Scheduled Duration read-only fields on the mappings level.

    Installation

    • Navigate to http://www.ceptah.com/Bridge/Downloads/BridgeDownload.aspx and download the installer. Before downloading, please carefully read the instructions on whether you need the 32 or 64 bit package.
    • Run the installer.
    • Open MS Project and use the ADD-INS > JIRA sub-menu to access Ceptah Bridge.
