Can Bridge bring over the dependencies created in Jira so that a MS Project schedule can be created that reflects the Jira dependencies? If dependencies are changed in MS Project will these changes be reflected back in Jira?

    Hi Carl,

You can set predecessors in MS Project based on issue links in JIRA using the Issue Link Mapping. Please see the User Guide for more details: http://www.ceptah.com/Bridge/Help/scr/Issue_Links_Mappings.htm

Nice product -- but nothing in the documentation covers the use case we have: when you want to map multiple jira projects to a single MS Project. Our use case is that different teams have their own Jira projects, and we'd like to map all project resources to their individual team tickets automatically. Is this possible via your tool? Thanks.

Hi Bryan. To synchronise the tasks in a single MS Project document with issues from multiple JIRA projects, map JIRA Project Key to a custom text field using the Project section of the Basic mappings page. Then for each task that needs to be published in a JIRA project different to the default one, enter the project key into this field. When issues are imported from JIRA into MS Project, the field will be populated automatically. The help on the project mapping can be found here: http://www.ceptah.com/Bridge/Help/index.htm#page=Basic_mappings.htm. If you have any further questions, please e-mail them to support@ceptah.com.

Hi, I am evaluating the Ceptah Bridge product inorder to get it in usage by Project Managers in my organisation. I have explored the tool with this trial version. So far it looks fine. But, we have few questions and our pilot project managers would like to get in touch with Sales representatives if possible. Is there way we can get in touch with a representative either from Atlassian or Ceptah itself to help us out? Thanks in advance! One specific question is how to recover the data if it gets corrupted when synchronisation is done wrongly. Answers are highly appreciated.

Hi Navya, Thank you for your interest in our product. To revert the changes, you can use the standard functionality of MS Project - either execute the Undo command until the project is in its initial state or close the project without saving and reopen it. Please address any further questions you may have to helpdesk@ceptah.com. Regards, Sergey
