Works nicely, now has an almost Steam-like quality to it that users like. Latest version, despite claiming support for JIRA 4.3 on, does not install on 5.0.7 however.

Thanks for the compliment, Rob! Regarding the failed installation, feel free to open an issue in the UPM issue tracker (https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/UPM) so that we can follow up. The latest version of UPM successfully installs in all compatible versions in our automated tests -- so it's possible that there is another issue happening.

Cheers!

I installed 2.9, and within 15 mins I uninsstalled it and went back to 2.8.2. I hate the new, imposed view and filtering. It adds several clicks to what I used to do with none.***** update 4-30-3****** THANK YOU very much for the additions you made to 2.10. It meets my needs perfectly!

Hi Jeff,

Sorry to hear you don't like the changes!

With the new filtering functionality we wanted to show you the add-ons you need to take action on right away: add-ons with expired / expiring licenses or maintenance periods, free updates available, add-ons that are installed or bundled but unlicensed that you could buy or try.

We also raised up the actions on the closed state of each add-on to remove the need to expand add-ons to take those actions (hopefully saving a click for things like updates!).

We're always iterating here. I'm definitely interested in the kinds of actions you're taking in UPM, and I'm going to reach out to you directly to follow up so we can make sure to consider the kinds of things you'd like to do into the future.

Cheers!

Edit: With UPM 2.10 we incorporated some of this feedback. You will now see all add-ons you've installed by default, with actionable items at the top of that list. Thanks for the feedback!

I think that Atlassian should be more careful regarding UPM QA maybe releasing new versions not to all customers, so far it did generate lots of problems. It was great to finally see the list of changes for latest GreenHopper update in the UPM update screen. Maybe you can make this mandatory forevery plugin publisher. Still, I was surprised that none of the hyperlinks in the changelist worked, clicking them did nothing and when the mouse was over them I got the "I" (text edit cursor) instead of the normal arrow for hyperlinks. This happened on both on latest Safari and Chrome on OS X. Also, please put the Support / bug request hyperlink inside UPM main interface. People are using the marketplace rating because it is *much* easier to find it! ... and also because they want to share their experience with others.

Thanks Sorin, we've logged up an issue to deal with the hyperlinks, you can  follow along here: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/UPM-3545
