    More details

Desktop widgets that can consume CCTray format from CI servers include CCMenu for Mac OS X, CCTray for Windows, and buildnotify for Linux.

Instructions: after installing this add-on, visit a plan you wish to monitor on Bamboo. In the Actions menu for the plan, select "CCTray feed for project". This takes you to the CCTray feed with status for all the plans and branch plans in this project. Copy the URL of this feed and use it to set up your desktop widget. If you wish to monitor plans in more than one project, you can repeat the process as necessary to add feeds for other projects to your widget.

    Version 1.0.2 Bamboo Server 5.10.0 - 5.13.2 Released 2016-03-19

One feed per project instead of a single global feed

With this release, the global feed for all plans in the Bamboo server has been replaced with a feed for each project. In addition, there is now a menu item to get the feed for each project, in the Action menu for plans within the project.

The name given to CCTray projects has also changed in this version, to include the project key.

If you had previously configured a desktop widget to work with version 1.0.1, you will need to reconfigure it as the feed URLs and project names have changed.

There is also a feature, hidden by default, to provide a separate feed for each plan. Although this reduces the overhead needed to generate a single feed somewhat and thus speeds up the API call, this is likely less efficient for most workloads; if you are monitoring more than one plan in the same project, you will be better off using the project feed. If you nevertheless want to use per-plan feeds, you can enable the option in the plugin configuration.
