    We have come across business requirement for Salesforce custom object integration with JIRA. I found Go2Group CRM plugin as the best one available after evaluation. It is easy to implement and offers great functionality. The experience with the support team have been excellent from evaluation to implementation.

    Nearly every communication I've had with this company required a follow up email several days later asking that they actually respond. I had requested in-depth documentation on this products capabilities and they stated that it was so simple, it didn't need any. To be fair, their plugin does work, but be warned, when working with SugarCRM, the behavior that restricts available contacts to the selected account is hard coded between account and contact, and doesn't work with any other module related to Account. They did offer to add this feature, but ONLY after requesting a refund (which they denied). I'm sure this plugin works great with Salesforce, but I would steer clear for SugarCRM -- there are other products here that work with more flexibility and achieve the same results for 1/5th the cost. Also, this plugin regularly costs $2k/year, that you must pay every year. It's not a support/maintenance contract. If you don't pay up again the following year, you lose the functionality of the plugin. If you are on a small license tier with JIRA, this easily costs more than the base JIRA licensing. Pros: What it does do, it does without issue Cons: Horrible communication, requiring follow up to get a response to nearly every request, some responses taking weeks to get. Extremely expensive at $2k, and is a yearly service, not a purchase /w maintenance license. Some behaviors are hard coded, and do not work with any custom modules related to account, even when properly built using only SugarCRM studio

    GREAT plugin! Every time a user says, "It would be nice if it did X," I find that there's an easy way to configure exactly that. If I do have a question, the support team is very helpful and responsive. This one is a keeper :)

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Salesforce Plugin via search. Results include add-on versions compatible with your JIRA instance.
    5. Click Install to download and install your add-on.
    6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
