    tl;dr: this is the RIGHT plugin to use, not the other ones. Why? We switched from another Salesforce <--> JIRA integration plugin after we started getting serious about escalating cases from Salesforce into JIRA for DevOps involvement. The old plugin was bug riddled and never worked consistently. It also had a weird requirement to have a 1-to-1 relationship between the Salesforce user and the JIRA user it was filing the issue with, which meant we had to use a lot more licenses on our JIRA side. From the start we received great support, and had all my questions answered in short order. After the initial learning curve, I'm now doing things like adding custom fields and links to opportunities to our Professional Services projects, and then doing linking from our Support issues in SFDC back into JIRA for escalations with a simple button push on the SFDC side. Our support engineers are now able to escalate to DevOps easily, and no longer need their own JIRA logins. Overall, have been very surprised and impressed with the stability of the plugin and the flexibility in configuration and setup it gives you. We're primarily using it in a uni-directional way (SFDC --> JIRA), but the bi-directional capabilities did work for me, and being able to independently control the uni vs bi directional sync for individual fields is also really nice and flexible.

    This plugin has made our Salesforce integration a breeze. It has every option we could has possibly asked for to keep our Salesforce and Jira data in sync. With this plugin all of our data is always up to date. Any questions I have ever had have been answered quickly and professionally by the Go2Group staff. We couldn't ask for anything more out of this plugin.

    This plugin is a life saver! Our studio/design department was running on a legacy project management system built years ago with custom integration with Salesforce. This plugin has allowed us to migrate them into JIRA and maintain our existing Salesforce workflow with minimal modification required. The developer support is outstanding! Very timely responses, quick resolutions. I highly recommend this plugin to anyone looking to tie together their JIRA and Salesforce instances.

    Go2Group's Salesforce plug in product robustness, seamless integration and highly responsive support make for a great enterprise level add on for us. The configuration was very straight forward and the documentation that they have provided is clear and precise. None of the more commonly found one-off adjustments that I come across with other documentation. It took us minutes to minutes to configure and deploy. Once we got into the more advanced settings and we wanted to push the envelope a bit, there was a clear and expedient response from support. Happy with our decision.

    Working with Go2Group's CRM plugin with SalesForce.com was a breeze. We were able to quickly set up in development, map our fields, and get to testing. There were a ton of options, so it took some time for us to come up with the process we wanted to use, but the plugin was flexible and made it easy for us to implement whatever process we thought up. Migrating the configuration was also very simple and easy, making deployment to staging and production a solid, no fuss move. We were able to update the configuration and connect to our production instance in minutes and allow users to start validating and using the tool. We also have had great luck with their support staff, but sales and technical, in evaluating, testing, and preparing to deploy the tool. Any and all questions were answered quickly (always less than a day) and they seem to genuinely listen care about us and not just getting another sale.

    Installation

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Salesforce Plugin via search. Results include add-on versions compatible with your JIRA instance.
    5. Click Install to download and install your add-on.
    6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
