Must agree works very well with SugarCRM and allowed us to add Customer Contact details to Jira. My only beef is the pricing when on a starter License. Went from a free version to $2000.00 without any warning, come on guys I don't mind paying, but keep it real.

Go2Group sales and support were extremely helpful and very responsive during our evaluation period, often getting back to us within a couple of hours! This type of professional, quick turnaround was really impressive and one of the main reasons we purchased the plugin. The plugin itself is pretty amazing, and it does exactly what we needed without being overly complex to configure or requiring us to further customize our Salesforce setup. All we had to do was add a button in Salesforce and the Go2Group CRM plugin in JIRA does the rest! It was great being able to configure multiple mappings of custom fields and add value translations to map issue schemes between Salesforce and JIRA, all from a straightforward, quick and clean config interface without needing to track down custom field IDs in JIRA. The plugin interface is very smart and allowed us to configure and test our very complex mapping quickly and easily, automatically looking up fields from our Salesforce instance right in the plugin! When we discovered one field that the plugin didn't allow us to map, we contacted Go2Group support who opened a Feature request for us and within 2 business days they had addressed our request and added this functionality to the next release of the plugin! Overall, the plugin and the support from Go2Group has simply been outstanding!

Installation

  1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
  3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Locate Salesforce Plugin via search. Results include add-on versions compatible with your JIRA instance.
  5. Click Install to download and install your add-on.
  6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
