This only works if the excerpt on the child page(s) is one line of text and if there is only one excerpt on the child page. It adds the excerpt to the same line as the page name within the tree. I would have expected the excerpt to have been inserted between the page name entries in the tree allowing: A: more than one line of text within the excerpt B: more than one excerpt to be included in the tree

Fixed excerpt problem, added mobile view


  1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.
  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
  3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Locate Page Tree Plugin via search. Results include add-on versions compatible with your Confluence instance.
  5. Click Install to download and install your add-on.
  6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
