Better Blogs for Confluence

Our organization was looking for an easy and reliable way to leverage Confluence to deploy change management communications to our staff numbering in the hundreds. Email distribution lists are messy and not all staff are in the same applications otherwise (e.g, CRM). The out of the box blog feature in Confluence is a useful place to house those communications, but it doesn't contain a push notification piece. Without that, our staff would have to remember to keep checking it and that doesn't suffice for us. Better Blogs is exactly what we needed so that users by space automatically receive the notifications they need from the blog. We've whitelisted the email sender domain so that it doesn't throw up an external alert. The tool is economical and simple to use. We are delighted!
