The simplest way to track page views in Confluence

    Track page views

    Display visitors of a page

    List recently viewed pages

Use the Viewtracker macro to track page views, gaining valuable insight into visitor behaviour. Makes it easy to see which text is appreciated by your colleagues!

Use the Viewtracker macro to display specific details of who visited the page, when, and how many times.

Use the Recently Viewed macro to display a list of pages that you have visited recently. Access those pages again quickly and easily.

    More details

A big part of Viewtracker has been rewritten for the new 4.0 release. Update now and enjoy much better performance, especially on large Confluence instances!

Viewtracker is now a paid add-on:

The Viewtracker add-on provides more information than just counting page hits. It provides important user behaviour details, of who has viewed which Confluence pages, and how often the page has been visited. By knowing which pages attract the most attention, users can better focus their writing and page content to meet the interests of colleagues.

    Features

    • track page views
    • display user trends
    • list recently viewed pages

Also give it a try in combination with the bitvoodoo Enterprise Theme.

For complex reports of the collected data we support the API of the Reporting add-on by ServiceRocket via the free Viewtracker Supplier add-on.

This add-on was free, but now it's very expensive Use this one: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1215565. It's much cheaper.

This is one of the most powerful add-on of this nature. Nothing short of invaluable.

Used this addon over 5 years, now found "paid update is available". Dissapointing. Developer should inform about plans to switch add-on to commersial in prior. Will uninstall & forget.

    Hi Ilya

We a sorry to loose you as our customer. Because we know that changing into a paid mode is a big change we sent a mail to all our customers by the mail given at the one klick registration of the Viewtracker. This mail contained a promocode for 50% discount and next to this we informed all about that change in our documentation.

I'm sorry that you haven't seen one of these notifications.

This plugin is NOT currently Data Center compliant. It appears to depend on RB Supplier and RB Support plugins from Service Rocket which are not Data Center compliant and will not function on a Data Center installation of Confluence. If your dependencies are not DC compatible, how can you run with the Data Center label? Love it on my un-clustered standalone instance, my new DC build I just can't use it (unfortunately).

    Hi Derek

Thank you for the feedback. The add-on itself is marked as data center because the Reporting functionality is an optional feature you could use if you bought the Service Rocket Reporting add-on. The 2 bundled add-ons are just libraries to make this work.

The normal features of the viewtracker are data center compatible and the add-on is full functional without this external reporting possibility.

This is very useful, helps you know who is actually reading your content and who just says they are. We have it added to our global space layout to be included by default at the bottom of every page.

    Pricing

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your host product. The app tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian host product. For example, if you have a Confluence Server license for 25 users, you should purchase the 25-user tier for apps. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your host product license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server apps, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host product. Server apps are always free for community and open-source licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian host product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
