An easy way to improve navigation between Confluence pages - create tabs to group content

    Display child pages as tabs

    Choose to display tabs vertically

Create different tab types for accessing content

Create tabs for all child pages of the current or a specified page. It's even possible to generate the tabs based on specified labels.

Display large numbers of tabs vertically for easier navigation between tabs.

Use the Localtabs macro to group content on the same page from multiple tabs. Use the Childtabs macro to automatically generate tabs with content from child pages.

ChildTabs is problematic and needs refinement. If the page is incorrectly entered and a page with the entered name doesn't exist the page can't be loaded when the page is saved. This effectively locks us out of the page unless we can work out the page's Edit Mode URL. This happens if autocomplete is ignored by users (often is) and especially in cases where a valid page name is entered but it contains a ":" character in the title. Everythign before the ":" is considered a spacekey which leads to failure. Navitabs is great. Childtabs bugs = blocker. Have contacted the developer but have yet to hear back.

    Hi Will

Where have you contacted us? We neither received an issue on our support@bitvoodoo.ch mail address nor in our public JIRA bitvoodoo.atlassian.net. Can you please tell us the issue key you generated so that we can follow up what was going wrong?

To follow up this issue, please contact support@bitvoodoo.ch.

    Thank you

Great plugin, really helps organize our pages into logical parts. I like the options to customize exactly how things are displaying! Quick sidenote, I would like to submit a JIRA issue against the project, but it seems the public does not have permission. I am signed in with my account, but do not appear to be able to create an issue.

Thanks for your feedback! Our JIRA is public, you just need to create an account for yourself, and we fixed the permissions, so that you can create issues again. Thank you for reporting this! If you have further issues with our JIRA, just contact support@bitvoodoo.ch

I love bitvoodoo. These guys are so generous and good at what they do. Navitabs works perfectly. I also love their Panelbox plugin. Check it out!

Great little plugin. Makes long pages more manageable. One thing to mention with v4.0.8 if you have tabs with the same title then they stop working correctly. This didn't happen with prior versions.

Thanks for your feedback! We've just released version 4.0.9 which should handle tabs with the same title gracefully again.
