    More details

The multi excerpt plugin has similar features to the Confluence excerpt macro, but additionally allows for including multiple named excerpts from a single page and can pull excerpts together from multiple spaces.

It now also caches multi-excerpt-includes for vastly enhanced performance when you have a lot to include!

We've opted for the trial version but the plugin doesn't seem to be working strangely. Upon creating a multi-excerpt, we're getting the following error : Multiexcerpt "table1" not found. Note that nested multiexcerpt macros are not supported. And we're unable to include the excerpt as well , we're getting the following error : No space with key : DEMOS

    Hi,

Thanks very much for your interest in this Confluence add-on!

This is likely an issue with 'MultieExcerpt Cloud' having to do with Atlassian not granting the add-on user access or the default settings being changed.

This seems to be related to the add-on not having permissions to access the content.

Please review the documentation at this link -

If we could give it zero stars, we would. Actually, it would be zero for functionality (it was broken on day one of the install), and zero for support (we opened a ticket that nobody ever responded to. Summary: 0 + 0 = 1 star?

    Hi Shawn,

Thanks very much for your interest in this Confluence add-on! Sorry for your experience. We have since added support stuff and we've actually been having a dialog about the issue since the day after you left this review.

I think the solution is one we provided in the ticket but if not I'm happy to do a screenshare as mentioned in the ticket.

We've been using this plugin successfully until we encountered a post-confluence upgrade issue. Just like S Stack comment on 2016-12-07, I've entered and ticket into their online ticketing system and have had no response whatsoever. Very disappointed with the customer service, if there is any !?

    Hi David,

I believe your ticket is #42798 to which I've responded. If not please let me know. I believe the issue you encountered is now fixed with the latest version of the add-on (if I have the right ticket).

Apologies for the delayed response. We’ve had a staffing issue and did fall behind on support. I’m actively working to staff up a couple of dedicated support reps so this doesn’t happen again. I truly appreciate your interest in the add-on and I acknowledge how frustrating it is not to receive timely support. The success of these add-ons has exceeded expectations as has the support load. Hence we are now playing a bit of catch up but committed to staying on top of support moving forward. As you can see by past reviews this is not the norm and a temporary issue we are working to remedy. Thank you for your feedback and input!

We are evaluating this plugin and have encountered a problem. An email created a FreshDesk ticket 2 weeks ago -- no reply. Several updates to the ticket, no response. Not even an acknowledgment. Another email sent, another ticket created. Again no reply. Artemis Software, are you not supporting this plugin any longer?

Hi! We've implemented and released a new version which restores the feature you asked about in your ticket. I responded to that ticket as well. My sincere apologies for the delay in response. I posted more details in the ticket.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does cloud add-on pricing work?

Cloud pricing is subscription based. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, your pricing tier for host products and add-ons is automatically adjusted (as necessary) based on the number of users in your instance.

If you've opted for annual billing for your host product, add-ons are also billed annually. Annual subscriptions for this add-on include a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing tier?

The cloud add-on tier is set automatically based on the license tier of the host application. For example, if you have a Confluence Cloud license for 25 users, your add-on tier is 25 users.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud add-ons, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud add-ons are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the add-on.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

The add-on tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian host application. For example, if you have a Confluence Server license for 25 users, you should purchase the 25-user tier for add-ons. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your host application license, the two licenses should match exactly.

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
