    Would be a very nice add-on at the previous price point. Now that you have jacked the price up more than 5x the original cost we were quoted. we will be looking else-ware for this functionality. Very disappointed in the price gouging.

    I am sorry, that our price adaption seems to be that big for you. As a Vendor of Software solutions, we have to define pricings that match to the use and the cost of development. So we had to decide to add more features and adopt the pricings of other similar plugins, or keep it small and cheap as it was. The load of ideas, feature requests and talks to our customers led us to grow the plugin.

    We are very short to our next big release, where you will get these features:

    • Summary Panel for EVERY Issuetype (to sum up eg story points from subtatsks)
    • add and edit additional fields in the detail View, like fixVersion, Account or other custom fields
    • budget marker for other values, too (not just for time)

    These and a lot more smaller features are just the next step to our roadmap.

    This is a very nice add-on. I have tried it and noticed that this will work if all the items (EPIC, Story, Sub tasks) are in one project. What if, the EPIC is in one project and the stories and subtasks are in separate project (parallel projects)? In the release notes, you mentioned that you are planning to support this in future. Any idea when this will be available / delivered?

    Hi Namaha,

    actually Epics allow the inclution of Issues from any other Jira-project, so ESU does support the aggregation, too. Our plans are to create a new issue type that works similar to an Epic, but has some more features you might need for project management or information engineering. (think of Epics as projects)

    Great add-on to keep an eye on overall progress and aggregated numbers – not only for the project manager but the whole team working on individual (sub-) tasks. Also, the accumulated attachment view is very handy and saved us quite some time.

    This add-on is invaluable for anyone using Epics! I appreciate the flexible configuration options and the ability to visualize progress in different contexts. The ability to show Story progress directly on Epic Cards in Agile Boards is really helpful, and can be used also in non-software projects. Here is an example using the addon for tracking progress in rollout projects: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-45690.

    thank you for your Feedback, we really appreciate this! We also use the definable progressbars on epics on our boards. We use them as Projects having a lifecycle and the board lets us controll the projects at a higher level.

    unfortunately the latest Agile release removed the possibility to display anything else but text on cards. So this led us to think about simple board functions and providing an own board.

    How does cloud add-on pricing work?

    Cloud products and add-ons are hosted by Atlassian. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    Your subscription automatically renews every month. Annual pricing is also available. Your pricing tier for host products and add-ons is automatically upgraded (as necessary) when you add users to your instance.

    If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    Installation

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Epic Sum Up via search. The appropriate add-on version appears in the search results.
    5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Epic Sum Up. You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Epic Sum Up begins to download.
    6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
    7. Click Apply license. If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your JIRA instance.

    To find older Epic Sum Up versions compatible with your instance, you can look through our version history page.
