    This is a very handy and simple time tracker to use with Jira. I found it really convenient to use in my workflow and it also allows you to track your time for anything, not just JIRA. It can also handle teams, although I am guessing at some stage this will become a paid service. To get it working you need to sign up for a free account at tmetric dot com. Install the plugin for your browser and you then get a "Start Timer" button appearing in your Jira issues. I would also recommend installing the desktop app for your system tray if you are using Windows. It's a convenient tool for starting and stopping or opening the web app. The one caveat is that it does not log the times within Jira itself. It logs the times in its own standalone website app, although it does give handy links back to the JIRA issues you used the timer for. This would be perfect if it logged times in JIRA as well, but I can live without that as I was more after a daily time tracker that was quick and easy to use. I gave it 3 out of 4 stars since it doesn't also log times in JIRA, but would definitely be 4 stars if it did.
