Description

SmartBug is a plugin for Jira which makes bug reporting smarter. It creates a Google Chrome extension which is configured to detect issues in based web applications and can pre-fill issues with collected data. This data can include:

 

  • Domain
  • Application Path
  • Browser
  • Operating System
  • Error file/line reference
  • Error Message
  • Recent Activity 
SmartBug is configured on a per-project basis. It also acts as a update site for the SmartBug extension so that users are always automatically updated to the latest configuration.

Click the 'SmartBug Configuration' link on the project administration page to configure.
Click the 'SmartBug Extension' link on the project page to install.

SmartBug uses the ActiveObjects plugin and was developed for Codegeist V.
