Description
The problem: You got duplicated issues that should be managed together. All the description, attachments and comments in ONE issue.
The solution: MERGE - Issue merger for Jira. MERGE merges the duplicated issue with the ONE issue with description, attachments and comments all together. MERGE provides workflow postfunction to merge issues. The postfunction can be applied e.g. on the close transition and associated with the merge screen. On the merge screen you provide the the target issue to merge into. The description is added to the target issue's description, the attachments are added to the target issue and also all the comments are added to the target issue.
