Activate automatic management of agents
Enable automatic management of virtual agents on remote hosts for efficient execution of build and deployment tasks

Your virtual machines which are used for tests shouldn't be running all the time. Just start and stop them when necessary by creating corresponding tasks

From January 1, 2018 the Virtual Agents app is archived. Now it is distributed as open-source project. The source code of the app is available in the repository and the latest app package is available in the Downloads section. There you can also find the latest documentation.
Virtual Agents for Bamboo is a tool that allows you to efficiently use virtual machines with agents for execution of build and deployment tasks.
Automatic Management of Virtual Machines with Agents:
- Starts automatically virtual machines with agents for queued build and deployment tasks
- Stops automatically virtual machines with idling agents
- Monitors and optimizes flow of queued tasks
Start/Stop Virtual Machine:
- Adds tasks to start virtual machine with a capability to set delay for the next task in the queue or start the appropriate snapshot
- Adds tasks to perform hard or soft shutdown of the virtual machine or suspend it after task completion
