Custom Fields

The HP/Palm Jira Custom Fields plugin adds the following custom field types to your Jira instance

Collapsable Check Boxes

By default in issue Edit view the field shows a summary of boxes that are checked. If the user clicks on the summary or the expand arrow then a list of editable check boxes appear.

Last Transition Date

Caculates a read only field that is the last date and time that a workflow action occurred.

Issue Hyperlink

Inserts a link to the issue on the screen in the form  [KEY-4321] issue summary. Useful for cases when users want a link that they can easily copy and paste.


The following fields existed in the 2.3 version of this plugin for Jira 4.3 but they no longer exist because the same exact functionality now exists in Jira: Deprecatable Check Boxes, Deprecatable Multi Select, Deprecatable Select and Deprecatable Radio Buttons. When you upgrade this plugin from version 2.3 to version 2.4 while upgrade Jira from 4.3 to 4.4, then the old Deprecatable custom fields from this plugin will automatically be converted to the Atlassian Jira built in custom field equivalent.
