  • My resources are needed for other non-public projects and for the Jira Metadata plugin

You colleagues or customers won't have to consult the manual if they use Jira less frequently. Compass will guide them to use Jira faster and even more accurately to create issues.

Showing the issue creator information about the to fill in fields is even without the compass Plugin possible, but all information will be directly presented to the user. Compass will take care that the user will get the information about what to fill into the field, when the field gets the cursor. Thereby your Jira-users will get context sensitive help. You can create or update every field related help within the standard functionalities of Jira (e.g. via Field Configuration Scheme).

The spitting of the issue creation screen via tabs is common scenario to simplify the issue creation. With the help of compass, you can go a step further. Your tabbed screen will be transformed into a wizard to guide the user even more clearly.

How to install

  • Download and install the Plugin into your Jira instance
