Key highlights of the appA scheduled daily or weekly status report for Jira: one digest of what changed, instead of a notification flood

Replace the notification flood
Six emails about one issue become one summary. Pick a JQL, a cadence and a timezone; Digest folds everything that changed into a single digest you read when you choose.
See only what you may see
Digests are generated with app permissions and re-filtered against your own access when opened. Anything you cannot see is stripped and counted; the check fails closed, never leaks.
Nothing leaves Atlassian
Built on Forge with no external calls and read-only Jira scopes. The app never sends mail and never talks to an outside service. Runs on Atlassian eligible, a badge Atlassian applies automatically.

The problem
Jira emails as work happens: a busy week on one issue is six emails. A filter subscription lists matching issues, not what changed in them.
What Digest does
- Subscribe in one line of JQL — with a daily or weekly cadence, your own timezone, and grouping by project, assignee or status.
- One summary per period. Each run collects what changed: issues created, status transitions, assignments to you, priority changes, comments that mention you — folded into one digest in an in-app inbox.
- Honest about silence. No changes, no delivery — unless you ask for empty digests. Broken JQL pauses the subscription with Jira’s own error message.
- Private by construction. Digests are re-filtered against your own permissions when opened; anything you may not see is stripped and counted. Read-only scopes, no external calls — nothing leaves Atlassian.
Good to know
Digest does not filter or intercept Jira's notifications; it folds a period's changes into one summary you read when you choose.

Version information
Version 2.3.0•for Jira Cloud
- Release date
- Sep 28th 2026
- Summary
- Change lines in time order; changes from Jira's bulk history counted
- Details
An issue's changes are listed oldest first. They were in reverse, so an issue that was unassigned and then given to you read as if it had been unassigned last.
When Jira's search returned an issue without its history, the history fetched separately was ignored, and that issue's status, assignee and priority changes were missing from the digest.
