Showing details for Cloud

Key highlights of the appOpenAPI/Swagger and JSON documentation that lives in Confluence — attachment-based, exportable, zero egress

hero

Specs from page attachments — always current

Attach your OpenAPI file to the page, pick it in the macro, done. Update the attachment and the documentation follows — no copy-pasting specs into macro bodies. Paste-inline also supported for snippets and examples.

Exports that actually work

Most API macros export to PDF or Word as a blank box. Ours renders per-tag endpoint tables with method, path, summary and parameters, honouring your tag filter. Share API docs with people who never open Confluence.

Your specs never leave Atlassian

Zero external servers, zero CDNs, zero network calls: rendering happens entirely inside your Confluence page (Runs on Atlassian). Bonus JSON viewer: any JSON as a collapsible tree with type colors and size badges.

More details

API Docs Macros renders OpenAPI/Swagger specs and JSON documents as clean, readable documentation inside Confluence.

TWO MACROS

• OpenAPI Viewer — renders OpenAPI 3.x and Swagger 2.0 (JSON or YAML) as browsable API documentation. Filter endpoints by tags (unused schemas are pruned), hide the info header or the schemas section, choose the default expansion.

• JSON Viewer — any JSON as a collapsible tree: type colors, size badges, initial depth, key sorting, expand/collapse all.

BUILT FOR REAL TEAMS

• Specs come from page attachments (update the file, docs follow) or pasted inline.
• PDF and Word export render real endpoint tables — not a blank box.
• English and Spanish UI, following each viewer's Confluence language.
• Clear messages for oversized documents, invalid specs and empty tag filters.

PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE

Everything renders inside Confluence. No external servers, no analytics, no spec ever leaves Atlassian. The app stores only each macro's configuration.
