Key highlights of the appOpenAPI/Swagger, Markdown and JSON documentation that lives in Confluence — attachment-based, exportable, zero egress
Specs from page attachments — always current
Attach your OpenAPI file to the page, pick it in the macro, done. Update the attachment and the documentation follows — no copy-pasting specs into macro bodies. Paste-inline also supported for snippets and examples.
Exports that actually work
Most API macros export to PDF or Word as a blank box. Ours renders per-tag endpoint tables with method, path, summary and parameters, honouring your tag filter. Share API docs with people who never open Confluence.
Markdown from your repo, rendered in Confluence
Attach a README or paste Markdown: headings, tables, code blocks, task lists and images from page attachments render natively, export to PDF and Word, and nothing ever leaves your Atlassian site.

More details
API Docs Macros renders OpenAPI/Swagger specs, Markdown and JSON documents as clean, readable documentation inside Confluence.
THREE MACROS
• OpenAPI Viewer — OpenAPI 3.x and Swagger 2.0 (JSON or YAML) as browsable API docs with a search box. Filter endpoints by tags (unused schemas are pruned), hide the info header or schemas, choose the default expansion.
• Markdown Viewer — a README or any Markdown: headings, tables, code blocks, task lists, links and images from page attachments. Raw HTML is never executed.
• JSON Viewer — any JSON as a collapsible tree: type colors, size badges, initial depth, key sorting, expand/collapse all.
BUILT FOR REAL TEAMS
• Files come from page attachments (update the file, docs follow) or pasted inline.
• PDF and Word export render the real content — not a blank box.
• English and Spanish UI (follows the viewer's language).
• Clear messages for oversized or invalid files and empty tag filters.
• Runs on Atlassian: nothing ever leaves your site.

- Summary
- New: Copy as cURL for every endpoint in the OpenAPI Viewer
- Details
Copy as cURL in the OpenAPI Viewer
Every expanded endpoint now has a cURL bar under its parameters: one click copies a ready-to-paste curl command, and "Show" reveals it first. The command is built from the specification alone: server URL (with variables), path, query, header and cookie parameters filled from the spec's examples, defaults and enums, the operation's security scheme (bearer, basic, API key, OAuth2) and a request body sampled from the schema (JSON, form or multipart). Anything the spec does not say is left as a {placeholder}. Nothing is sent anywhere: the viewer stays read-only with zero egress.
Works for OpenAPI 3.x and Swagger 2.0, in light and dark mode, English and Spanish.
Also: the copy-path control in each endpoint header is now a labelled "Copy path" button, visible without hovering and readable in dark mode.
