Key highlights of the appThe prediction comes from the people doing the work, via a regular, anonymous, 1-click confidence vote in Slack
Replace the status report with a prediction
Every project gets a colour-coded card showing how confident the people doing the work are that it will be delivered as expected. See the portfolio at a glance, spot trouble sooner, and see which teams to leave alone.
An automated, 1-click confidence vote in Slack
Replace the status meeting and stop chasing the report. Genchi asks each person "How confident are you that we'll achieve our goal?" The anonymous 1–5 vote means you get what they actually think, not what's safe to say.
Anonymous votes encourage an honest signal
Like planning poker, every vote is visible but anonymous — no one anchors on the loudest voice or the manager's number. Tracked over time, the trend shows you a project losing confidence before anyone says so out loud.
More details
Genchi shows engineering leaders a prediction of which projects are heading for a missed deadline and which aren't, from the people doing the work. Giving every engineer a way to be heard, this prediction comes from their anonymous, one-click confidence vote in response to a regular, automated Slack prompt. Those votes are combined by project into a single score, tracked over time, so leaders can spot projects in trouble sooner and step in where needed, and, more importantly, know which teams to leave alone. Team members benefit too: visibility into how their teammates view the project and how the teams they depend on are doing, and less time and effort spent on status reporting.
Why not just read the Jira data?
Jira records what's been done. The deadline is a question about the future, and Jira can't record what the team already suspects about it. That knowledge exists, but Jira isn't the channel for it. Genchi is the channel.
