Xporter - Export issues from Jira to PDF, Word, Excel

The app works, but the results from the default templates are far from perfect — elements often get cut off or misaligned. If you’re willing to work through the hassle of tweaking templates, you can achieve some results, but the setup process isn’t very user-friendly.

We used it for a long time and it's probably one of the most versatile tools for exporting but now we need to switch. Since dec 1st you cannot run an export, if you filter for more than 350 Issues. Bad communication makes it impossible to recommend this app anymore since we didn't receive even an ETA for a fix in 2 months.

Verbose, obtuse and just plain doesn't work! The Xporter button in the top right of a Test set does NOTHING and provides zero feedback when clicked. Can't wait to be rid of X-Ray for good

For us this app works very good - it is very versatile in creating customized exports with an ease of use that even a low level admin would understand on how to create a template of use. Recently i have been in contact with their support team to help me out in conditional formatting on a field value which was easily solved by their skilled support team.

In the past few months, the app has not worked for several days, causing considerable inconvenience to both internal users and customers. The scheduler is limited to 10—just 10!!!—schedules. In addition, there is no editor for the instructions, which makes it difficult to understand what is not working.

  You’re right — there were two defects recently impacting Xporter: one related to scheduled reports running outside the configured time, and another affecting JQL-based exports, which returned blank results. Both were quickly identified, fixed, and fully deployed shortly after your report. We really appreciate your collaboration in helping us resolve these issues.

  Regarding the 10 active schedules cap, this limit is in place to protect Jira and mail queues from potential overload. We noticed that you’ve voted for the suggestion [XPORTERCLOUD-2223], and we’d recommend watching it so you’ll be notified of any updates.
