FastAudit only ever moves a field to Jira's own trash, where it stays restorable until the deletion date Jira sets. It never deletes a field and never changes the data one holds. Every action is journaled.

FastAudit is built entirely on Atlassian Forge. The field inventory, weekly snapshots and cleanup journal are stored in your own Atlassian tenant, the app declares no egress permissions, and it is eligible for the Runs on Atlassian programme. It follows your site's data residency automatically, so app data is hosted in — and migrates with — the location you choose.
Scans are read-only. Every verdict shows the evidence behind it: screens, contexts, projects, how many issues hold a value, the last-used date Jira reports, and the saved filters that reference the field. Cleanup only ever moves a field to Jira's own trash, where it stays restorable until the deletion date Jira sets — FastAudit never deletes a field permanently and never changes the data a field holds. Every action is recorded in an audit trail.
