TRUST SIGNALS
Key highlights of the appShow customers the request details agents already see: fields, assignee, SLA clocks, related requests, status notes
The request details the portal never showed
Per service desk and request type: the fields, the assignee, the SLA clocks and related requests a customer may see, rendered on their request page.
Configured by admins, checked per customer
Every render starts with an as-customer access check on the request; every related request passes the same check. The app never widens what a customer can see.
Fail closed, in-tenant, read-only
Forge functions and Forge storage inside your Jira site. No vendor servers, no egress, no writes to Jira or JSM.
More details
Why: JSDCLOUD-4328 (1,722 votes) asks for fields, assignee, SLA and linked requests on the customer portal.
Quick start
Step 1: Install on your Jira site.
Step 2: Open Jira administration, Apps, Portal Extension for JSM.
Step 3: Pick a service desk. Tick Assignee, SLA clocks and Linked requests, then search for and order the fields customers should see.
Step 4: For a request type needing a different set, open its tab and choose Override.
Step 5: Save, then open a request on the portal as a customer: the Request details panel appears.
Shows: read-only field values in your order, assignee, SLA clocks, related requests each verified as that customer, and a note per status.
Limits: panels render beside the native form and cannot hide native fields. Comments, attachments and security fields are never selectable.
Runs entirely on Atlassian: Forge functions, triggers and storage in your tenant. No vendor servers.
