Leafward — Permission Inheritance for Confluence

Confluence has no page permission inheritance, and Atlassian has said it will not add it: no design passed their bar for understanding a change before making it.

Leafward is that missing impact preview, with the inheritance attached. Point it at a page and it reads the whole subtree at once, then states the consequences as sentences: who loses access, who keeps it, page by page. Untick any page or branch before applying; an excluded page shields everything beneath it. What you saw is what runs, never recomputed behind your back.

It also reports: an access review that states what it could not see, permissions filtered and exported, and what changed since the last review.

A subtree is not only pages: whiteboards, databases and folders take the same restrictions and inherit them the same way.
