Great app. We use it to export documentation, quotes and other Confluence pages to PDF in our own look & feel. One thing that could be improved would be a preview function of the PDF. Now we often need to export to PDF, put in or adjust pagebreaks and repeat. Resulting in an export cycle of 3 or 4 times that could be prevented with a preview.

This app has significantly streamlined our document production process. We can now produce professional documents, which are ready for distribution to clients, directly from within Confluence. Some of the most useful features are - The ability to upload custom fonts to ensure our documents match our branding; - Multiple export designs/styles within the same space; - Designing cover pages; - The ability to add images to cover pages and the header/footer of content pages; and - The ability to export parent and child pages as a single document. Finally, this app get arounds the very peculiar fact that Confluence's inbuilt PDF style sheets do not apply to individual PDF exports, unless you use the Space export function.

This is the best Confluence plugin ever! Finally, a way to standardise all company documents including front cover and back page, heading styles, table styles, everything! There are however a few bugs/suggestions: - Bug: The colours of images don't match the source image colour on MacBooks with P3 displays. - Bug: Midway through a document, sometimes the content page footers start using the back page's footer instead - Bug: The status macro colours don't match the configuration. Also it's not possible to change them - Bug: Paragraph indenting doesn't work, which causes display issue on the new Fabric editor's 'Decisions' macro, plus anywhere else paragraphs were indented - Bug: Images are automatically scaled if too wide for the page, however if they are too tall for the page they get badly truncated - Suggestion: It would be nice to have portrait/landscape as an export option, and configure the template to adapt - as currently I need to maintain two different templates for that If would be great if those bugs could be addressed in a future update soon, then it would get 4/4. Great work, thanks.

      Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching out to us. We are glad to hear that you have enjoyed using our app. In regards to your suggestion and reported issues, could you send us some additional information to support@k15t.com? This will automatically create a support case where we can then go through all the points with you. Ideally, when you reach out to us it would be great if you could provide a copy of your customized export template and an XML export for any affected Confluence page(s). We can then try to reproduce the issues you've experienced.

      Cheers, Thomas (K15t)

Good support, and the Cloud version now contains lots of rich features for content layout control. CSS still not there, but most things are possible. Tags and Macros now control selecting pages other than a hierarchy below the current page for export. Once final request might be a feature to exclude all children below this point, rather than having to tag dozens of pages where child-of-child are not required. Otherwise brilliant progress being made by the team. Now just hoping for a slightly better price-point for our 2000 users.

      Hi Adrian,

      Thanks for your feedback.

We have an open feature request to allow customers to define an export structure. The idea is to have check boxes where the user should select which pages should be contained in the exported file. When working on this functionality, we might also think about giving users the option to exclude all child pages with a single click.

Please feel free to watch and vote the issue to get a notification for any update.

      Cheers,

      Nils

This app fills a huge gap in Confluence and does so with excellence. What a nice app. However the price is a deal breaker both for my non-commercial use and for my 2000+ people workplace as is the case with most of the Confluence apps. Why not set the price in the no-brainer bracket and have a lot more customers? And the per user pricing is not working in the real world when maybe 3-5 percent of our users would have a use for the app. I don't get it.

Hi Michael, thanks for the feedback. We are glad to hear that the Scroll PDF Exporter meets your export requirements in Confluence. We try to fairly set our pricing based on the continual improvements, maintenance and support that we invest in the app. Additionally, like many Marketplace apps, we follow the user-tier licencing model as we believe the use of our app can offer value to these users. For further information regarding our app licencing you can check out our FAQs page here. Alternatively, you can reach out to us at help@k15t.com and we’d be happy to discuss this further. Thanks, Thomas
