BesTest - Requirements & Test Management for Jira with MCP

We have been incredibly impressed with BesTest, both with the application itself and with the team behind it. As the Director of Quality Engineering for a very busy Salesforce Integration company, Test Management is a critical part of our business, and Zephyr was working. But the addition of Requirements Management has become increasingly important and we were on the search for a new tool.... and we found a gem! We've been using BesTest for Test Management and Requirement Traceability within Jira and Confluence, and it's been an excellent addition to our Atlassian toolset. It holds its own against Zephyr for Automated Test Management, and the Requirement Traceability Matrix has given us a level of visibility we didn't have before. What really sets BesTest apart is how well it integrates data from both BesTest and Jira to generate Release Readiness Reports — more accurate and useful than anything we've been able to produce with other tools. As a small startup, BT Studio has also been incredibly responsive to feedback. We've asked for more customization than a new customer probably should, and they've consistently delivered — always with a positive, can-do attitude. We've had multiple video calls between our teams, and every interaction has been supportive and collaborative. Highly recommend BesTest to any team using Jira/Confluence looking for a serious upgrade to their test management and requirements traceability process.

BesTest has been a genuine game changer for our requirements management process. We're a growing Salesforce SI, so finding a tool that scales with us without piling on cost or overhead has been tough. BesTest nails this. You get the depth of test management you'd expect from something like Zephyr, but combined with an actual RTM solution, and it's priced fairly for what you get. Honestly though, a huge part of why we're sticking with it is Balazs. He's responsive every time we reach out, and he genuinely listens. He took the time to understand the actual business problems we were trying to solve instead of just pushing a canned pitch, and he's worked hands-on with me and my colleague to shape the requirement management component around what growing companies like ours actually need. If you're looking at requirements traceability and test management tools, give BesTest a real look. The product is strong, and the support behind it is even better. Also, I think BesTest MCP is a game changer!

BestTest is easy to get started with, and the developer is very responsive. After we shared feedback on our experience getting started, they even delivered a new onboarding flow. The MCP has been a great addition, and the UI feels modern while still fitting naturally with Jira’s look and feel. For our team, BesTest has improved how we build software, because we can visually see requirement coverage and work with much more confidence. It’s the kind of tool that makes you rethink how AI-assisted development and testing can fit into the workflow.
