Tempo is out of order day-to-day. Our employees hate it. JS errors are everywhere you look. We are looking for another solution.

We have just started rolling out Tempo Timesheets to our digital, software and project teams as part of a wider transformation of the ways of working. The support we received so far has been incredible, starting from demos, best practices, troubleshooting permissions and config setup. The feedback is really quick and timely. As a newly born Tempo admin, I feel confident we can support our internal users and minimize change stress. Pilot users, PMs and POs are all very excited to start using it in full as it will save us so much pain and time wasted on end-of-month reporting. Thanks, team! Special kudos to go to Juliana Mokwa, Daria Grebneva and Siddharth Subramani.

While Tempo's features to migrate via JCMA could be for sure enhanced, just rating the support (multiple times from Miglena H.) which was very responsive and adviced correctly.

After the latest update, Tempo has become completely unusable for me. Instead of accessing my time tracking, I'm greeted with "Choose which apps you would like on your Jira instance." As a regular user, I don't manage Jira apps, so I'm effectively locked out of the product. The most frustrating part is that I relied on Tempo's automatic work tracking to record what I was working on throughout the day. That functionality was one of the main reasons I used the product. Because of this update, I can no longer accurately reconstruct my working time, potentially resulting in lost billable hours. What is truly concerning is that a release capable of breaking the application's core functionality made it into production. This isn't a minor UI bug—it's a release that prevents users from using the product for its primary purpose. It raises serious questions about the quality assurance and release validation process. For a commercial product aimed at professional teams, this level of quality is simply unacceptable. I expect far better testing before updates are rolled out, especially when they can disrupt customers' daily work. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend Tempo.

      Hi Axel,

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, and we're sorry for the disruption.

Based on what you've described, it looks like your Jira instance may have ended up in a state where the Tempo Core app is installed, but the Tempo Timesheets app is not. In that situation, regular users can end up seeing the "Choose which apps you would like on your Jira instance" screen, even though only a Jira admin can resolve it.

If that's the case, your admin can resolve it by (re)installing the Tempo Timesheets app alongside Tempo Core. We'd still like to take a closer look at your instance to confirm that's what's happening and make sure nothing else is contributing to the issue. If you open a support ticket, we'll be happy to investigate further.

You're also right that directing a regular user to an admin-only page is a poor experience. We're working on improving that flow so users receive clearer guidance instead of reaching a dead end. Thank you for the valuable feedback. It helps us improve the experience for everyone.

      Best,
      Kathryn Vargas
