Hola!

    Hola Gustavo,

Thank for you leaving a review

It is unfortunate you feel as though our documentation difficult to find and our support channels are not agile. We try to make our Help Center as useful as possible and are always looking for ways to improve. For reference, you can search through our Help Center here as well as our Knowledge Base articles here.

Regarding the remaining estimates, this is a known limitation. Changes within Jira to the issue view has made this functionality not ideal. We are currently looking to make some improvements regarding this and have an open idea where I encourage you to follow here. In the meantime, please refer to this knowledge base article which includes a workaround.

If you would like more support regarding this issue, I encourage you to open a ticket with us and we can schedule a meeting to further discuss. Please reference my name, Amanda Bouharevich, within the ticket to connect.

    Thank you,

    Amanda Bouharevich

Time sheet reporting is not user friendly. 1. No option to sort users by location in the report (For companies with multiple locations, it is a must to have this option for easy tracking) 2. If users don't log time, they don't show up in the report ( Irrespective of time sheet entry, it is must for users to show up in the report to quickly identify if they have logged time or not) 3. For Next Generation project and some classic project too, the admin needs to be added to the project only then the users will be generated in the report

    Hi Naren,

    Thank you for your review.

I'm sorry you feel that the timesheet reporting is not user friendly. We currently have a task force in place to re-evaluate our current reporting functionalities and review our client's expectations and how we can improve.

As you know we've been currently working through our support desk to resolve some of these issues with you. We will be releasing reporting on users Location for Cloud in the second half of the year.

Regarding the ability to export all users regardless of time being logged, you are able to achieve this by exporting the Team Timesheet. You will notice a second tab on the export called "Users", where you will see all users regardless of time being logged.

Typically, Tempo exports are raw data exports, meaning if there are no worklogs, there will be no data to export. One of the priorities our reporting team is focusing on is improvements in how reports are exported, and incorporating more "what you get is what you see" excel reports. We are hoping to have these rolled out within the second half of the year.

Additionally, we are in collaboration with Atlassian to tighten the integration between Jira Next Gen projects and Tempo. This will be released in the upcoming weeks.

    Thank you,

    Amanda Bouharevich

Reasonable product. Missing some key reporting, but otherwise good. But I really need to say, the new update for Timesheet entry is horrible (significantly worse than the last version) for copying / pasting time into the Timesheet view... and there's not a good way to submit feedback. Also don't try and create issues which you've got a timesheet log up, the keyboard doesn't focus properly went typing and causes frustration. This has got worse as time has gone on, downgrading this to 1 star. Try manually entering in a time entry in the calendar, and you get input box jumping between one time box and the other. It make the time entry side of this completely un-usable.

    Hi Tony,

Thank you for the review. It is unfortunate that the update is not to your liking. As for feedback, we recently launched an idea portal, please consider leaving any ideas to improve our products there.

The last part of the review is somewhat confusing to me, any chance you might contact our support so we may understand better what the issue is?

After testing, it is indeed a good tool, but there is something to be improved. When users submit work logs, they want to have customized secondary or multi-level menus to choose from.

The Integration between Jira and Tempo for next gen projects is a nightmare. It simply does not work if you want to use epics or accounts. Hard to understand how two well know companies that otherwise make good products are unable to solve simple aggregations and classifications in time recording.

The time tracking part is excellent and easy to use by our team. Unfortunately, the UI for the accounts and pricing tables is a bit of a disaster. It's very hard to make changes to the simplest bit of data ... be it a pricing table, account information etc. It's also very hard to see the relationships between various pieces of information. We urge the developers to upgrade the administrative UI to make the whole process clear, crisp and understandable.

    Hi Alexander,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review

We are happy you like the UI

We have recently introduced our Idea Portal where we encourage our clients to leave feature requests for review and vote for ideas that are already submitted. You can learn more about our idea portal here. Regarding the ability to report on Jira custom fields, there is an existing idea within the portal, https://ideas.tempo.io/ideas/T-I-271, with the status of "Likely to implement".

Lastly, we are currently looking into our internationalization capabilities and the idea of cyrillic characters would be part of this scope. It would be great if you add support of cyrillic characters in the idea portal.

Tempo Timesheets was great until they released the "new look". Now, everything got worse. Besides of UI glitches, a lot of good functionality was dropped (o week sums and summary in time sheet, time sheet forgets the selected time interval every time it's opened, flexible sliding intervals (e.g. show from 20 last days till 3 next days) disappeared. Also the new time sheet consumes way more space. If I try to display a whole month, I need to scroll horizontally now. It's has now terrible UX and I start to hate the "new look" from day one. Edit: Thank you for reply. I have absolutely no understanding that the functionally is removed and will be "re-introduced" one day. If the "new look" is not finished yet, keep the old until it is or, at least, keep the old available until the new is ready. Least you can do is to make the old functionality (where we all have paid for!) available ASAP.

    Hi Michael,

    Thank you for your response.

We take our clients' feedback seriously, and we just released the logged versus required hours on Cloud and will be included in the next Server release.

We created the new look in collaboration with multiple teams across Tempo and clients' feedback. It is unfortunate that we've missed the mark on some of the UI changes and we are quickly trying to resolve these.

I would be happy to connect with you via a call if you would like to discuss this further. Please submit a support ticket and mention my name, Amanda Bouharevich.

    Pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Desk, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud apps.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Desk (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Desk, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

Yes, this app has a Data Center approved version. If you're using a Data Center product, you should install the Data Center version of the app.

Learn more about Data Center approved apps

What type of license do I need if I'm using this app in a Data Center product?

Because this app has a Data Center approved version, you should purchase a Data Center license for the app.

If you already own a server license for this app, you can continue using the server license in your Data Center product for a limited period of time.

Learn more about Data Center licensing

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for server apps?

For server apps, academic licenses are available at a 50% discount if you have an academic license for your Atlassian product.

Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
