Key highlights of the appBring Forgejo and Codeberg commits, branches and pull requests into the Jira development panel
Commits, branches and PRs on your work items
Forgejo and Codeberg activity appears in the Jira development panel. Each work item shows its commits, branches and pull requests, linked by issue key, like the built-in GitHub and GitLab integrations.
See development status across your board
Pull request and branch indicators show up on board cards, so you can tell at a glance which work items have open branches, merged PRs or commits without opening each one.
Connect a repository in minutes
Paste one webhook URL and secret into your Forgejo or Codeberg repository. Optionally add a token to backfill past history. No self-hosted backend, no repo-admin access required.
More details
Atlassian ships development-panel integrations for GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket, but none for Forgejo or Codeberg. This app closes that gap.
Reference a Jira issue key in a commit message, branch name or pull request, and it appears in that work item's development panel and on board cards, like the built-in integrations.
Setup takes minutes: add a webhook to each Forgejo or Codeberg repository using the URL and secret from the app's settings page. Several repositories can feed one Jira space. Optionally add a read-only token to backfill history and show new branches as they are created.
Built on Atlassian Forge: no self-hosted backend, nothing to run. Data flows directly between your Forgejo or Codeberg instance and Jira. The app needs only a read-only repository token, never admin or write access.
Codeberg works out of the box. Self-hosted Forgejo is reached through customer-managed egress, authorized per installation by a Jira admin.
