Key highlights of the appLive OpenAPI & Swagger docs from your Git repos, private ones included. Tokens stay in encrypted storage, never in the page

Tokens stay in encrypted secret storage

Point SpecDock at a spec in a private GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket repo. Tokens live in Forge encrypted secret storage, server-side only - they never reach the page or the browser. A read-only single-repo token works.

Always the current version

SpecDock fetches the spec at view time, straight from your branch. Merge a change to your API and reload the page: the docs are already up to date. No copy-paste, no stale attachments.

Every API on one page

Each macro is independent: render as many specs per page as you need, in full documentation layout or as a compact endpoint list. Build a complete developer hub in Confluence.

More details

SpecDock renders OpenAPI 3.x and Swagger 2.0 specifications (JSON or YAML) directly on Confluence pages, so your API documentation lives where your team works and never goes stale.

  • Specs are fetched at view time from GitHub, GitLab.com, Bitbucket Cloud, a raw URL, or a pasted file: merge a change, reload the page, the docs are current.
  • Private repositories are first-class: access tokens live in Forge encrypted secret storage, are used server-side only, and never reach the page or the browser. A read-only, single-repo token is enough.
  • Two layouts per macro (full documentation with navigation sidebar, or compact endpoint list) and multiple independent macros per page: build a complete developer hub.
  • Runs entirely on Atlassian Forge: no third-party servers, no analytics, no data collection.
