See every change before it happens

Every tool shows a page-by-page preview with a clear before-and-after. Uncheck any page or any single match within a page, then apply only what is left. Nothing is written to Confluence until you confirm.

Find and replace across a whole space

Open the Find and replace tab. Enter a term, tick both Titles and Body, then Preview. Capture the matches grouped by page, with the matched text highlighted in its surrounding sentence.

Control who can use which tools

Confluence admins can turn any tool off across the site or in one space, or limit it to chosen groups and users. Checks run on the server, not just in the tab bar, so a hidden tool genuinely cannot be run.

Summary: Bug fixes and small improvements
Details: The app no longer goes blank when you switch between tools and then run a preview.
Attachment manager: if you change Permanently delete (purge) after a preview, you now need to preview again. Before, the old choice could still be used.
Pages you are not allowed to edit now stay in the results with No permission, instead of being left out.
When a preview finds nothing, you now see a Nothing matched message.
The apply button is turned off when no rows are selected.
Overview: when you move pages to a new parent, the preview shows the current parent's title, not its ID.
Link manager: Find and replace in URLs is hidden when an admin has turned it off.
Feature Restrictions: if saving or resetting fails, your changes are kept and the error shows in the dialog.
Clearer messages: correct use of "page" and "pages", "delete" instead of "edit" for attachments, and "with status" for pages picked by status.
