Key highlights of the appAutomatically create Jira issues on a schedule — daily, weekly or monthly, in any timezone, with subtasks
Create recurring rules in seconds
Pick a project, issue type, schedule and timezone. Add an assignee, reporter, priority, labels, due date and subtasks — all optional.
Manage all your rules in one place
See every rule's schedule and status at a glance. Run a rule now to test it, or pause, edit and delete.
Issues appear automatically
On schedule, the issue is created — assigned, prioritised, labelled and broken into subtasks, in the rule's own timezone.
More details
Jira can react to events, but it can't natively say "create this issue every Monday at 9am." Recurring Tasks & Scheduled Issues fills that gap.
Define a rule once — project, issue type, summary, schedule and timezone — and the issues are created automatically, on time, every time. An hourly scheduler running inside Atlassian's cloud does the work, so there's nothing to host.
Every rule can set the assignee, reporter, priority, labels and a due date, plus subtasks/checklist items (a parent issue with predefined steps). Each rule runs in its own timezone.
Ideal for weekly status reports, monthly maintenance and compliance checklists, quarterly reviews and sprint ceremonies.
Runs on Atlassian — all code and data stay inside Atlassian's infrastructure. No external servers, nothing leaves Atlassian.
