We have been using the Multi‑Level Cascading Select app in Jira Cloud, and it has worked very well for us. It helps our teams keep data clean and organised, and the cascading options make it easier for users to pick the right values. As Jira administrators, we rarely encounter bugs or issues with this app it has been consistently stable in our environment. Overall, the app works well, adds value, and is a good solution for teams that need multi‑level classifications in Jira Cloud.

We have used the Multi-Level Cascading Select by Sourcesense in Data center for more that 6 years and it has been working very well for us. We are happy to use the Multi-Level Cascading Select by Sourcesense in the cloud and the migration support to the cloud has been great. Using Multi-Level Cascading Select by Sourcesense in the cloud has been a great expirience and the Sourcesense support has been excellent. Regrettably, the functionality is limited to Jira and does not extend to Jira Service Management. The fields remain invisible on the Customer Portal, hindering the ability to assess the captured information.

The app since september 2025 supports Jira Service Management as well and can be freely used there. Best Regards

If you're migrating to cloud, most likely will notice a limitation if you're trying to import a json file that is larger than 128kb. Support is not responsive at all, they let you hanging without a response for days, you're best of using Jira's built-in field.
