Power Scripts SIL covers significant majority of our customization tasks due to high flexibility, concision of code and excellent support (special thanks to Suprija). For us it's preferable way of difficult task automation when project automation feature isn't enough and groovy is too complicated.

My company is using Power Scripts and Power Custom Fields (along with the SIL Engine) to integrate Jira (Server) with Jira Align. SIL Scripts are very powerful and flexible, and relatively easy to write and test. Be sure to test plugin updates on a staging server before updating your production server. My experience with the AppFire support team is very good.

I'm using SIL since 2015. It's a great product. Comparing to the second scripting plugin I can make things using sometimes one line scripts, it's so simple. Recent update was a little problematic, but team resolved my ticket in about 24h. We have a lot of scripts and none of them needed to be rewrite during this big update (4x to 5.8). Keep the good job guys!
