Approval Chaser for JSM

Approvals stall when the approver simply forgets — and the request sits in your queue while SLAs tick.

Approval Chaser watches pending approvals in the Jira Service Management projects you choose and reminds the current approver(s) automatically, as an @mention comment on the request, on a cadence you set (default every 24 hours). New approvals get one full window before the first nudge, and each approval is nudged at most once per window — reminders, not spam.

Escalate after N days: loop in a named contact when an approval waits too long, once and tracked. Nudge now: one click from the request’s Approval Chaser glance, which also shows days waited and nudge count. Optional customer-visible portal comment so portal-only approvers who follow the request get JSM’s own notification.

Runs on Atlassian: built entirely on Forge — no external calls, no third-party data, all storage in Atlassian.
