Countdown puts a single, unmissable number on your Jira dashboard: how many days are left until the date that matters. Set a target date, choose calendar days or business days, and decide when the number should turn amber and when it should turn red. Add a start date and you also get a progress bar. That is the whole app, and that is deliberate. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO: Countdown requests no permissions. Its manifest declares an empty scope, so it cannot read your issues, projects, users or attachments. It stores nothing except the settings of the gadget itself, and those live inside Atlassian. It runs entirely on Atlassian infrastructure and qualifies for Runs on Atlassian. No server of ours is involved and nothing leaves Atlassian. DETAILS: business days skip Saturday and Sunday; today is the date on your own device; the alert threshold can never exceed the warn threshold.
