More details
Date Time is a lightweight Confluence macro for publishing an exact date and time in a specific time zone so runbooks, announcements, and global teams all see the same instant explained consistently.
What you can configure
- Date — pick the day on a calendar
- Time — set hour and minutes; use 12-hour or 24-hour clock
- Time zone — choose from standard IANA zones (the same zones browsers and systems use worldwide)
- Date & time format — presets for common styles, including US and European numeric dates and written-out dates.
The macro renders inline as formatted text (or shows a clear message if something in the configuration needs fixing). Macro parameters hold all settings—the app does not use Forge storage or background resolvers for this, and no additional Confluence scopes are required.
Good for: deadlines, maintenance windows, “go live” times, incident timelines, and any page where “when” must be exact and unambiguous across regions.
