ERD Studio for Confluence is the companion to the free ERD Studio extension for VS Code. Your team designs data models in VS Code and commits them to GitHub; this app puts those diagrams on the Confluence pages where people read about your data. Export any diagram as Mermaid or DBML.
How it works: a Confluence admin connects your GitHub organisation once through the ERD Studio GitHub App, choosing which repositories it may read. Page editors insert the ERD Studio macro and pick a repository, branch and diagram. Each view checks the latest commit, so diagrams stay current without exports or copies.
Security: read-only access to the repositories you choose, short-lived repo-scoped tokens held in encrypted Forge storage, and no data stored outside Atlassian. Sites with up to 10 users are free.

Adds an Export button to every diagram: copy or download it as Mermaid or DBML. Reads files from the latest ERD Studio extension: models grouped into layer folders, relationships kept in model files, composite keys and dbt’s data_type. A model file that can’t be read now shows the reason. Diagrams saved by earlier versions keep rendering as before.
