Key highlights of the appSpreadsheet-style tables inside Jira issues - formulas, rich column types, merging and drag-fill
Group rows by a shared value
Merge a column so a shared phase shows once across the group — alongside a user picker, multi-select labels, and a checkbox.
Merge & drag-to-fill while editing
Select a run of cells in one column, then Fill or Merge - the same handle drives both. Hold Ctrl/Shift while filling to increment a series.
Records side by side
Flip the grid so column names run down the left and each record becomes its own column - handy for comparing a few detailed records.

More details
Connected Tables for Jira turns any issue into a structured, spreadsheet-style table - no attachments, no copy-pasting from Excel. Add a configurable table field and capture line items, checklists, plans and inventories right on the issue.
Build each table your way: rich column types (text, numbers, dates, checkboxes, single- and multi-select labels, user pickers, sequences and formulas), per-row formula calculations with a summary footer, cell merging and drag-to-fill, and grid or transposed layouts.
Your team - and JSM portal customers - can view and edit the same table on the issue, in a dedicated panel, or on the customer portal. All data stays inside Atlassian; nothing leaves your site.
