Vellum - Audit Trail & Change History for Jira

Vellum captures who changed what and when across Jira — field edits, transitions, comments, worklogs, links, attachments, and deletions — into an append-only, per-record SHA-256 hash-chained trail, with field-level before/after history, filtering, and CSV/print export.

Integrity Verification (free): check a per-issue or per-project chain in-product against the last sealed checkpoint. Auditor Evidence Pack: one click produces a self-contained per-project bundle — records, chain-of-custody header, integrity result, coverage statement, governance-event log, checkpoint values, and offline re-verification instructions — so a third party can recompute the chain without the app. Retention and Legal Hold: set a guarded, logged retention ceiling and place project legal holds that block deletion.

Runs entirely on Atlassian Forge — read-only, zero external egress. Tamper-evident, not tamper-proof; strongest deletion detection when evidence packs are kept off-platform.
