Shows up where the email is
On a Jira work item with an .eml or .msg attachment, MailView appears on the right, below the fields. It lists the emails, suspicious ones marked; one click opens the full email. No setup, nothing to configure.
See why an email looks suspicious
Shows the SPF, DKIM and DMARC results your mail server recorded, where each link really goes and lookalike letters in domains, with a verdict in plain words. A first look for agents, next to your security tools.

MailView reads .eml and Outlook .msg attachments in Jira and Jira Service Management (agent view; not the customer portal). Free on sites with up to 10 users.
Subject, from, to, cc, date, text with inline images, attachments to download. Earlier replies folded away.
Appears by itself on work items with an email attachment, with a verdict per email in plain words. The check reads only what is in the file (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, lookalike sender domains, where links really go), no online lookups. A first look, not a security product. Details tab: all headers, every link’s real address. Copy findings: a summary for a comment.
Also opens winmail.dat (TNEF) and KnowBe4 phishing reports.
Read-only: one scope (read:jira-work), no server code, parsed in your browser, no copies kept. Only three usage counts (shown, opened, copied) reach us via Atlassian, per site, never content. Security review: dortus.com/mailview-security.html
