Five custom fields for richer issue data
All five Admin Essentials fields on one issue: email and phone with clickable links, formatted currency, Traffic Light KPI status, and a colour-coded percentage bar. Values are validated on every save.
Configure Traffic Light KPI thresholds per context
Set low and high thresholds per field context. Toggle lower-is-better to invert red and green. These rules drive the traffic-light colour on the issue view while JQL searches the stored numeric value.
Required fields and smart field dependencies
Fields Required blocks transitions when configured fields are empty, respecting project and issue-type context. Field Dependency adds when-then rules with multiple conditions and custom error messages.

Admin Essentials for Jira is a Forge app that gives administrators practical custom fields and workflow validators without custom code.
Custom fields (per-context configuration):
- Email — validated addresses, mailto: links, exact-match JQL
- Phone — country-aware input, tel: links, JSM portal
- Traffic Light KPI — numeric value with red/yellow/green lamp; optional inverted scale
- Currency — numeric amounts with symbol, prefix/suffix and decimals per context
- Percentage — 0–100 with colour-banded progress bar
Workflow validators:
- Fields Required — block transitions until selected fields are filled, including Comment on the transition screen; optional ignore field context
- Field Dependency — if/then rules on text, number, select and colour-band triggers; Traffic Light / Percentage colours sync to issue properties for automation
Inline editing on issue view, create and transitions. Server-side validation on save. English and Spanish UI.
